A person who is putting extra effort to learn and recite the Holy Quran, for pleasing Almighty Allah, will get a double reward. We all should try to take out our time for the recitation of Quran because in this way Allah is pleased with us and we will get the double reward, in this world and in the next world too. In order to recite and understand Quran one must know the real purpose behind the revelation of Quran. The purpose of revelation is mentioned in Quran itself, in Surah Sad, verse 29: "[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded". The above verse clearly states that if we want our life to go smooth and peaceful then we must take help from the Holy Quran, and this is only possible when we open it (Quran) daily to seek guidance. Therefore, if one does not read Quran on daily bases, he or she is actually missing a chance of getting inspiration to examine all the things Allah has created and all the matters of life.
