Wrote my own ending for the Murakami novel, "Colourless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage", as it ended on a cliffhanger. In the book, Murakami's vivid descriptions and unique writing style provided a point of view that really pulled me in, so much that I wasn't only seeing the world behind the characters' eyes but actually delving into his mind, and becoming him. Through things like dreams, dark thoughts and a lot of ruminating in deep introspection, a deep layer of vulnerability is exposed, leading to a connection that transcends the vicarious, and by the end of the book I was really rooting for the character - and the cliffhanger ending left me somewhat unsatisfied; I had to imagine my own ending for it, and put it down into words.

Who said that the D-agency is only composed of spies? Peacetime has passed away and the countries have declared war. The secrets of the past are yet to be revealed and the fate of the future remains a mystery. It was, critically, stated that spies are only reliable during the quiet days and are no longer of use during the time of war. If such opinion was indeed proven, the D-agency will be forced to suspend and all the duties of the spies will be given a halt. However, Colonel Yuuki still has another or final card rather, underneath his sleeves-- The final card that can save the existence of the D-agency along with its remaining spies.
