Even humans are often born with natural gifts. Ezran has his thing with the animals, for instance. Mair has an innate ability to sense people's nature. If there's a better way to put it, she hasn't thought of it yet. Her talent for reading people has caused her plenty of troubles, so most of the time she keeps it to herself. The few exceptions are usually those who discover by mistake. For now that includes Claudia, Callum and Ezran. Should anyone else find out, she fears she would be forced to flee. There is more than one reason Mair hopes to avoid that, including a good hearted dork of a guard. But when elven assassin's attack, Mair may have no choice but to run; leaving the place she love, and all hope of a normal life, behind.
