There are things that scare us. Their existence is always a question mark but the mind plays its games once the idea is put in. Here lie some of such scenarios.

each chapter is a new set of characters. each chapter is a snippet of their life. each chapter is a whole other story. because, in the end, that's all we are-- stories. {lack of capitalization is intentional.}

He was familiar with the word "loneliness" the way we are with alphabets. He was someone nobody ever understood. Someone whom no one ever wanted to understand. His mind was a maze, and he himself didn't know the way out. Murph Hale was popular, not because of herself, but because of her friends. Her friends were all a girl would want to be like. But, intriguingly none of it bothered Murph. She was too busy just being herself. But what happens when they both meet? Do their lives change or does it become worse?

The pair of you can take a seat in the back next to Annabeth." Oh shit. That's me. Meet Annabeth Kade. She's a Huntington Beach native savoring the little things that life has to offer. She expected her Junior year to be an average one- that is until the most popular guy in school decided to invite her to his Halloween party. But instead of attempting to blend, Annabeth decides to make a statement. She attends the party as no other than Cleopatra, the powerful Egyptian Pharaoh. When Drew arrives on the scene, Annabeth immediately catches his attention. What is it about Cleopatra that he finds so captivating? Is it the dark black wig? What about her piercing blue eyes? Or maybe it's the way she can command attention with just a simple look. The same question running through his head is one that everyone else would like to know the answer to: Who is Cleopatra and where has she been hiding? Annabeth doesn't like being the center of attention, which is why Cleopatra is the perfect alter ego. Every once in a while, she can slip on the black wig and become someone else. But being Cleopatra doesn't give her an escape for long, because Drew is on the case, determined to find out who she really is.
