Melinda Dane merupakan seorang pelajar tingkatan enam (6) di sebuah sekolah pedalaman di Sabah. Seorang yang sangat aktif dalam sukan dan salah seorang pelajar terbaik di SMK. Bongkol. Menjadi kegilaan ramai pelajar lelaki dan guru-guru bujang di sekolahnya kerana paras rupa Melinda yang seakan-akan kacukan Korea-Dusun serta mempunyai kulit yg putih halus dan berbadan tinggi langsing. Namun, disebalik Melinda yang sempurna dia juga mempunyai masalah yang tidak dapat dia luahkan. Kehadiran Hayder John yang tanpa diduga menjadi titik permulaan pertemuanya dengan Melinda. Pertengkaran menjadikan mereka mejadi musuh ketat yang agak terkenal di sekolah. Sikap Hayder yang acuh tak acuh dan bersikap sombong kerana terpaksa berpindah ke pedalaman juga menyebabkan berlakunya permusuhan antara Melinda Dane dan Hayder John. Hayder yang ketika itu menjadi pujaan pelajar perempuan menjadikan sikap dan perasaan benci serta tersaingi Melinda semakin membuak-buak walaupun Melinda sedar bahawa yg menjadi musuhnya adalah gurunya sendiri. Setelah banyak yg Melinda Dane dan Hayder lalui, telah terbit sebuah perasaan seperti cinta namun ego antara keduanya lebih menguasai perasaan tersebut. Namun begitu, disebuah kejadian yg tak diduga menjadikan mereka mendekat. Mari kita lihat bagaimana jika Melinda yang egois dan Hayder yang tak mahu ambil tahu. Siapakah yang akan mengalah? Adakah cinta dua alam ini dapat disatukan atau sekadar imaginasi saja?
