Take a walk with me, not literally of course but a walk in my shoes through a lifetime filled with confusion, fear, hurt, and finally acceptance. It's not easy being different especially when you've spent nearly an entire lifetime alive being told you're wrong but we do it. Now, then and in the days to come. Maybe, hopefully, this walk will help you understand, and open your eyes to the plight many children living in the shadows must endure daily.
