When a conversation between Shadow and a GUN agent turns into a violent altercation, Commander Tower and the other members of Team Dark have to work to find out the truth underlying Shadow's explosive outburst.

"Breaking a nail" might be an excuse that Rouge uses to get out of doing work, but when Shadow shatters one of his claws in a fight in G.U.N.'s training grounds, she has to help put him back together again...

When the Eggman Empire opens a seaside resort, Team Dark is sent to investigate and look for evidence of foul play. But while Shadow and Omega might be highly durable in combat, they don't cope well with the high temperatures, and it falls on Rouge to make sure that her team doesn't fall apart...

GUN has asked Team Dark to find and destroy the remaining fragments of the Black Comet, but while Rouge and Omega might just be following orders, Shadow is motivated by something far stronger than a mere sense of duty...

Each member of Team Dark more or less gives the impression that they're "fine". But when Rouge - the glue holding the team together - begins to dissolve, she realises that they might not actually be fine after all...

Rouge has told Shadow countless times that her door is always open for him if he needs help, but he's never taken her up on the offer before. When he turns up bruised and bandaged on her doorstep, she realises that his physical injuries barely scratch the surface of his problems...

The chaos emeralds power's are fading. If they completely fade then Mobius will be destroyed. The resistance needs to find the spirits of chaos energy to recharge the emeralds before it's too late. They also have to get the spirits to believe what they're telling them because they don't even know that. (Cover by me)

This is my story for the fanfiction contest - @ShadougeTeam (Shadouge Official). For those who have never read Sonic (Archie) comics I suggest reading issues 193-195, will help to understand some points of this story. Due to the deadline to submit the fanfic, I had to make changes to the original ideas I had for the story. Flashbacks were shortened and were counted by the characters themselves. I removed some parts and characters. Maybe one day I will rewrite this story. the cover art was made by me and can be found on my deviantart.
