Dr. Eggman disguises himself as King Doc of the Kingdom of Torggmania in order to incorporate the bio-data of Sonic and other racers into Metal Sonic. He holds the "World Grand Prix", an Extreme Gear world championship in which the winner will be awarded an enormous monetary award and treasure. A race has begun in which the hopes of each participating team intersect. (Sonic Free Riders belongs to SEGA. Pokémon belongs to Game Freak.)

Aura is a calm and soft-spoken Riolu who loves to train and hang out in the forest. Aura is second in command aside from Lightning and she's Dawn's childhood friend. She's the quietest member of Team Pack.
