Set after Mockingjay, but before the epilogue, Always- An Everlark Story is about Katniss and Peeta healing and beginning to love again after their trauma. What if you got Peeta's POV. of the games. You get Katniss's but she never really told us about Peeta's past and what he was thinking. In this adaption of Susanne Collin's "Hunger Games," you get to witness Peeta Mellark's story. Disclaimer: All these characters are creations of Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games. This is a hunger games fan-fiction. Before I get into the blurb I would like to say that I do not own this image. Peeta is a massive part of Katniss's life, but nobody knows much about the boy with the bread. Nobody needs him or so he says. What happened in the background? How did he see every moment every turn in the story? And of course how did he keep it together? Well that's what I will delve into with this story! What happened after the hunger games.- an everlark story. Peeta has returned from the capitol but the pair seem to be off to an icy start. Both are traumatised from their experiences and are struggling to adjust to 'normal life'. Peeta's flashbacks from the hijacking causes difficulties in their relationship.

The 5th Quarter Quel and the 125th Hunger Games came. This year only adults can get picked, from age 19 to 65. When 24 adults, 12 woman and 12 men are on one arena there is no mercy. Who will be this year's victor? !I don't own Hunger Games the rights goes to Suzanne Collins!

The games are over. The rebellion is over. They've won and Peeta and Katniss are together. It seems like everything is over and things can become peaceful once again. However, the girl on fire and the boy with the bread just can't seem to catch a break. There are ups, downs and all around for the star crossed lovers from district 12. This is a 'song' from Gale's perespective to Katniss. I am re-reading the trilogy and I think I may be turning into team Gale. I can't help but feel sorry for him. I believe Gale and Katniss are made for eachother, and Peeta . . . if only he were easier to hate :) Please read and give me feedback!
