Teens Lance, Keith, Pidge, Hunk, and Shiro find themselves on the run from monsters out to get them, finding safety in hard to reach places. Eventually, demigod Percy Jackson finds them, and brings they to a magical place called Camp Half Blood, where they are each claimed, and make friendships and rivalries that will last a lifetime.

Being a teen is a hard task in itself but when you pair that up with mental illnesses, society's harsh exceptations, and the need to discover oneself; you're in for a big ride. When given a chance at fixing their issues, six teens discover that the bad, bad world has more than one trick up its little sleeve when they find that they're not alone after all. Lance struggles with the weight of his father's words that force him to become something he despises most in the world. Keith finds himself trapped in the shadow of his past as he struggles to stay standing while his liver shuts down. Allura can't seem to find the courage to hide the bruises that show up on her skin like a tragic work of art. Shiro smiles to hide the pain that eats away at his mind in his every waking hour, haunted by the monsters of his past and future. Hunk fights the feeling of fear when he steps into the world after a traumatic experience. Keith and Lance were inseparable as little kids. Vowed to be together forever. But what happens when Keith is taken into foster care? Would they ever see each other again?

Leaving home, finding friends, seeking family, forming new bonds and being tasked with the sudden responsibility of defending the Universe - the Paladins of Voltron are treading on thin lines as they're suddenly thrown into this new lifestyle together. A.K.A The Role Swap AU that nobody asked for.

There are five things that Team Voltron have yet to learn about Lance that they hadn't already. 1) Lance isn't just the jokester and the flirt. Lance is also that person you can go to for comfort. Lance is also that person to be deep with you as well as the person to tell you the truth instead of fake lies, regardless of how you'll react. There is never just one side to a story, but Lance's space family hasn't figured that out yet. 2) If you don't give Lance basic respect, he'll give you a reason to respect him. Being a naturally peaceful person, he goes for a less direct but still noticeable way. Lance believes that relationships are grounded by basic respect, but sometimes it's necessary to destroy and rebuild. 3) Lance is not a pushover. You can't just shove his voice right down his throat and expect for him to roll over and bare his neck. No. His teammates have yet to learn that Lance's bark is nothing compared to his bite, and he already talked a mean game. 4) Lance isn't dumb. Sure, when he hasn't had enough sleep, he'll spout bullshit, but it's not his fault he doesn't get a decent amount of sleep because Allura insists on getting them up at the ass crack of dawn- er, figuratively, of course. Lance has a basic understanding of technology and engineering, but he just doesn't delve to deep into it like Pidge and Hunk. It's his best bros' thing, not his. But Lance is a prodigy at math. And math is tied to everything. 5) Lance isn't a pretty force when he's angry. The team has seen him mad, not truly terrifyingly angry. Hell, he's only gotten truly angry three times in his 17 years, and it was enough for Lance to know he didn't want his team to see him like that. However, things such as keeping up a carefree image can burn away if Lance gets angry. Bottom line, don't get on his bad side. Essentially, Lance is a carefree guy until you cross the line. Dont. Cross. That. Line. Simple, right? Apparently, not for Team Voltron.

With him staring you down and the thickening silence in the small corridor, you felt as if you were choking under the pressure. He was hesitating. You didn't know whether you should speak up and demand a response or lighten the mood with a joke. It took you a lot to gather up the courage to even bring him in a secluded area away from the rest of Voltron since the last time you had such bravery was during better times. So you were very proud of yourself when you had managed to convince yourself to place yourself in such a vulnerable state again. Shiro's parents were taken by the police, and that's when Keith and Shiro signed up for the garrison. From there, they ended up in team Voltron. But now some issues from the past are resurfacing. So are they brothers? Or enemies?

(Please Note: I wrote this thing years ago and it is not a reflection of my current work. Read if you want, but be forewarned: It is bad.) In Galra terms, 'mating' means marriage though the process of it is close to exactly what you would expect from the word, though it is a long process that contains several steps including leaving permanent scars on both partner's bodies to tell others that they are already taken. Once the process is completed the two partners will be each others mates, as one would expect, how is this relevant to team Voltron? Let's just say a certain red Paladin happens to be Zarkon and Haggar's grandson and he and a certain green Paladin had acted upon the mating process permanently claiming each other, however when the rest of the team finds out that one of their team members is the enemy's species, he is exiled from the team, but what happens when Pidge discovers that she is pregnant with Keith's baby?
