#112 in teardrops Rose's life was perfect. Well as perfect as it gets. Her parents were loving, she had all the guys, all the friends, money, a nice house, grades, beauty, and happiness. Until... everything changed. Her parents died in an accident on their way to her school. Since any other relatives hadn't talked to her parents since they married, she had no one. Soon she was taken to a foster family nearby. Then the abuse started. After about a year they moved across the country and even school was rough. As everything good in her life began disappearing she felt herself slipping away. When Elliot notices her fake smiles and far off stares he tried to talk to her but she pushes him away like everyone else. Will he get through to her? Will she survive the rest of high school?

Jen arrives at the funeral, finding herself strangely ignored by everyone, even as she spots distant relatives and the brother-in-law who recently attacked her. The gathering feels eerie and unsettling, with familiar faces avoiding her gaze. As she pieces together the chilling details of the event, she realizes something is deeply wrong, uncovering a heart-wrenching truth that changes everything. "The unseen presence" is a suspenseful journey through love, loss, and the haunting presence that lingers.
