It has been a week since the defeat of the Demon King and the return of Princess Zelda. But though the war is won, there is still much to do. Setting out with her trusted knight, the princess seeks to use her newfound power to eliminate the remaining monsters and heal the land of the Demon King's influence. ... This fanfic heavily incorporates elements from TOTK, the Switch 2 Zelda voice memories, and Age of Imprisonment. Seeing as AOI is likely the last we'll ever see of the wild era Link and Zelda, I wanted a bit of closure on some aspects of the story that the games never give us. Tetra is a simple country girl, stuck in a Cinderella-like situation. After her father remarries & then passes, her stepmother plans to sell her to a slaver named Ganon. Forcing her to flee and steal away to the high seas, she eventually finds herself on a ship belonging to a young captain named Link. As fate would have it, he may be the only one who can save her from her past and restore her future.

In the midst of adventure, adversity, and great amounts of determination, (Y/N) can now live an easy life in the bustling Kingdom of Hyrule. Three years really wasn't much time at all, however. Set before the Calamity, Princess Zelda of Hyrule has a new Knight named Link who she just can't stand. The Demon King, Ganondorf has been defeated by Link, Hero of Hyrule and the 5 Sages. But, what will happen with the leftover gloom? The leftover gloom tucked into the Depths below Hyrule slowly infects the Lightroots below the Shrines of Light on the surface. One day, when everyone least expects it, one by one, the Shrines of Light disappear, Lightroots burst out from the ground, spreading gloom everywhere. Soon, the land of Hyrule is covered in gloom and when the kingdom has lost hope, a prophecy predicting a hidden hero will rise and save the kingdom arrives. This is set a few months after the events of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It will have some of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity's features, though it will mainly focus on Tears of the Kingdom. (By the way, this is my first book so please no hate, I hope you enjoy!)

Hyrule's healing. Why can't I? Or, as Link journeys through Hyrule, he finds his perception of reality falling apart, piece by piece. But why? This is nothing like last time, waking up cold and alone, without a name or past. He knows who he is now, his place as Hyrule's hero. So why is he questioning his identity in a way he never did five years ago? Why can't he shake the feeling that maybe, this healing world doesn't belong to him at all? Ganondorf, the new Demon King, has begun his foul conquest of Hyrule. Setting his sights on Kakariko Village, he leads his army to its first bloody step in taking over Rauru's kingdom. It quickly turned into the most annoying night of his life. (Title image is owned my Nintendo, not me)

listen i know i don't really do x readers but i figured it couldn't hurt??? none of the link x readers were really doing it for me so i gotta do it myself

Eggman is on the loose again and Sonic, along with Tails, Knuckles and Amy, gather to stop him. But, when it looks like they cleared all of the robots, Shadow shows up, brainwashed by Eggman, and fights the group. This gives Eggman the perfect distraction, after getting rid of Tails off his back, to aim his "deadly" weapon to them, which, in typical Eggman fashion, backfires, affecting everyone mentioned. On the other hand, 2 years after the events of Tears of The Kingdom, Link and Zelda discuss their future plans in the rebuilt and renovated Hyrule Castle, a discussion which abruptly ends when disrupted by a loud, abnormal sound.

So basically, this story came to me a few days ago while reading a sidlink story, so I'm keeping that element in. What if Link actually died while in his slumber, while his arm was "healing" (The Rauru arm thingy getting put on), and Rauru had to find a solution? This story follows the story of a past spirit Rauru had put in Link's body until he could find Link's original spirit, to basically keep the body still running and alive. Expect there to be a lot of out-of-context moments, and the story changing a bit, but I'm basically following the story of Tears of the Kingdom, so yeah have fun. Beware that this story will have some Death (maybe), Blood and Injuries, Somewhat emotional scenes, and a feral and ADHD driven possessed Link scampering around Hyrule.

Link and Zelda have been raised by Link's Uncle and Rauru Sheika Leader Impa in Kakariko Village for their whole lives. But when Link overhears talk of his parents, who he believed were long dead, in a conversation between Rauru and Impa, he knows something suspicious is going on. Suddenly, Kakariko is attacked by monsters and Zelda is captured by twin witches named Kotake and Koume. On top of all that, Rauru is killed in the attack, and in his dying moments he tells Link about a prophecy that took Link away from his parents and tells of incredible danger coming to Hyrule. Rauru orders Link to find all the Sages and rescue Zelda in order to save Hyrule from doom, so Link sets out on his journey, unaware of the dangers that await...
