Na Hae-soo is a character depending on how people perceives her. Some pity her whilst others see her as yet another fragile female lead with a tragic life: a hollow marriage with a cheating husband. Then somehow, saved by a rather convenient younger man whom sworns devotion. How romantic. A pure love from a man that's barely out of his boyhood? Let's be honest here, his lower body speaks for it before his heart does. Yet, you still clicked for this story anyway. For the drama, the scandal, and the forbidden romance of an age-gap trope. Like a wolf in sheep's clothing you ate all that up and leave no crumbs. But there's so much to the story. Author-nim, you gave the readers a traumatized woman and called it plot. Hae-soo could've been more than that. A symbol of retribution for any man mistakening broken for available. But no. Here were we are with her pain guised as male gaze and call it romance. So tell me, what happens when 𝙮𝙤𝙪 wake up in her world? "Eonnie, leave him! I know that Minshi-ugh, oppa. You deserve better than this!" Who needs Taeha when 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 here?
