She is surrounded by the strange an unusual, but they are somehow home. Can Tess learn the valuable lesson of being content and somehow win the contest to own the tea shop against the other girls? When a strange boy comes to the tea shop, can she balance love and work? Of all the lingering feelings and frustrations, can love overcome?

It speaks about a girl's longing for a customer she once met and brofisted. In the hopes that they can meet and talk again on the same island, like how they did by the counter on that evening.

Book One A dragon called Jujube, who lives in Mellowmoon forest is caught up in a tangled web of lies... Jujube owns a tea shop, giving gentle advice, and a listening ear. Her tea shop, The Cozy Hole, is a popular respite for stressed dragons worrying about the fireberry crops or students hoping to get accepted into Gemstone Academy in far off Tower City. One day, a new dragon arrives in Mellowmoon Forest. Cobalt is a traveling researcher, from Gemstone Academy, looking for the properties and benefits of exotic herbs. It just so happens that Jujube knows many different plants, and even creates hybrid plants for her brews. But suddenly dragons are getting sick all over Mellowmoon Forest, including Jujube's good friend Ginseng. Something strange is afoot! Is it Cobalt, the mysterious researcher with a clawful of secrets? Something faulty with Jujube's hybrid teas? Or is it something even more sinister that's been going on for a long time...

It all started with the tea shop and a newspaper clipping. Aletha Robin lives in the small town of Lilitia with her girlfriend Freedom Williams, who goes by Fey. They go to eighth grade together and are open about their relationship, despite facing discrimination for it. One day, Fey shows Aletha a scrap from a newspaper dated twenty years ago about a new tea shop. A tea shop that has no records since then. When Aletha goes to check it out, it's there alright, but then strange things starts happening. A unicorn horn while hiking. An odd cat. And somehow, Aletha and the tea shop are all tied to it all. When she learns that someone is trying to take it away, it's up to Aletha to make things right again, with or without the magic of the tea shop. Be warned (though it shouldn't be necessary, but I understand religious beliefs or just preferences), this story is LGBTQ+ with the main character being bi, and having a pan girlfriend. He gets discovered by Aizowa on one sleep deprived morning, and begins going to UA! He's cool with being a hero if it means he can walk to the school. He doesn't like being in cars. Fun facts about him! -He is h o t -Doesn't like fourth walls, tries to knock them down a lot. Okay, maybe I don't like the fourth wall deal with it. -Has an internal monologue that is as sarcastic as I am -Might have a traumatizing memory involving the rest of his family that his own mind is blocking out...? -Dislikes anything that involves high maintenance, lemon ice cream, and heights. Btw he is very oblivious and dense so I may have some add on if stuff he literally just missed throughout the chapter or smth ☝️💀
