"You ok," he asked. "I'm ok," she replied. Sam looked her in eye and hugged her tightly. "I know you're not." She never knew someone like him would come along. He never thought that she would light up his world. Kenna never knew she would need him that much. Sam thought he could just let everything go. All Kenna wanted was to be saved. At first she thought she was ok. That was only because of the mask she put on everyday. She never believed in love and inside she always knew she would be alone. Then Kenna learned the biggest lies are the ones we tell ourselves. All Sam thought he wanted was to be perfect. He pretend to be the prince and hid who he really was. But really he just wanted someone to see through the disguise and still care. Besides there's a little emotion in every "I don't care."

I suddenly heard the sound of heavy footsteps behind me, nothing unusual so I just turned around slowly to see what was wrong. I see a huge man clad in black racing towards me and in his hand was a gun. The man stopped a few feet away from where I was standing and took aim; I barely had time to react before the first shot was fired. I tried to get out of the way but the bullet struck my shoulder lodging deep in my shoulder, for a few seconds I was dazed and couldn't feel anything probably because of the amount of adrenaline pumping in my veins.
