This story takes place a couple of days after Jeremy gets his new squip in order to 'be more chill' but instead of falling in love with some of the hot popular girls he falls in love with his new squip. Jeremy, for the most part, was okay with the effects of accidentally drinking Mountain Dew. Having an upgraded Squip that's no longer a complete douchebag (okay, he's still a little shitty, but nothing too unbearable)? Cool. Squip playing matchmaker for him and his multiple crushes? Awesome. Falling in love with said Squip? Not exactly ideal.

Rich is sent to work at his uncle's friend's restaurant after he attempts to kill himself, and learns the man running it isn't all that he seems. It's been 3 years since the SQUIP accident, Jeremy has been healing and getting adjusted to his new life. Everything's going well, that is until the SQUIP makes a return. Is he truly a good guy he claims to be? ____ AUTHOR'S NOTE: This fic is currently under a hard rewrite. The new story will have all original characters and most likely no mention of the canon BMC. The SQUIP in this fanfic is an OC of mine that I created with my boyfriend's help. Jeremy hated thinking about that, because to be honest? He was as in the dark there as Squip was. He liked to say he would turn hero in those final moments and save everyone, be the White Knight he always dreamed of being, but let's face it. Jeremy was no hero, no Knight. He couldn't even be a good underdog. Jeremy was, and always will be, a selfish loser. He knew it from the moment he took that damn pill. Everything about him is so terrible... The SQUIP had failed to help his host. Jeremy had been nearly hopeless, SQUIP had thought he had no other option. He needed to complete his goal, and fast if his developing emotions were any indication. Still, he failed. Now defunct and out dated, he will be doomed to oblivion; his memories to become just another clip of training material for new SQUIPs to come. Until he realizes... He's still alive.
