Echo Boy is a surreal technicolor cartoon that airs inside the world of Oasis-a looping broadcast watched by Trace, Angel, Luke, and Jamie as part of the mythic architecture of Coyote. It's bright, zany, and absurd on the surface, but beneath the slapstick antics lies a recursive emotional test. Echo Boy isn't just a character. He's a signal. A dare. A glitch in the system. Each episode begins with Echo Boy flying through a pixelated sky in his origami-folding plane, dodging cartoonish villains and banana missiles. But as the episode unfolds, the broadcast begins to break. The sky glitches. The music warps. A shadow descends. Echo Boy mouths words he was never taught. The show becomes a ritual gate.

The story follows Kael Rivers, a high school senior with a unique ability to control and speak with electronic devices telepathically or through binary communication. Kael uses their powers reluctantly, preferring to stay under the radar until their classmate, Eris Vaughn-a popular and controversial student-mysteriously disappears. As Kael digs into Eris's life using both their powers and interpersonal connections, they uncover a web of lies, betrayals, and hidden truths.
