Using the power she was given, Sage woke up the Cybertronian only to discover that it was a Decepticon. After stating that he changed sides way back when, the former Decepticon spoke of the Matrix of Leadership before there was a sudden bright light. Sage had abruptly fallen from the sky and into the middle of the street. When she observed her surroundings, she noticed that she had no idea where she was. An incident lands her in Belle Reve, where she befriends a male prisoner on the other side of the prison. That friendship slowly builds to more and then they're sent on a Suicide Squad mission together. People die, blood is spilt and then, things change once more. Ryan felt lost when he lost the robot as if a part of him was destroyed with it. He still had his friends and his brother but he's never felt more alone then he did in that moment.

Sky has a friend, Andrew and they find something unusual but acceptable about themselves. They have powers. Sky is a technopath and Andrew has super strength. They meet another girl, Kara, who also has a power. She can turn invisible but then they learn that there's someone who wants to hurt them and the world and they have to stop him.
