The year is 2030. Sixteen years ago, Charlotte "Charlie" Duncan turned four years old. Now, no one knows where she is, or that if she's alive. Those videos were never thought to be re-watched again by a living soul, until they resurfaced in amongst of World War III because a soldier by the name of Charlie stumbles across these tapes in the middle of a war zone. Fascinated by these tapes, Charlie has many questions about the lost Duncan family and is trying to seek answers. He wonders, "Where are they now?" "What happened to them?" and "Are Bob's bugs actually gone?" This also makes him question Charlie's own existence, since he has no memory of his past. Tables start turning when a soldier girl appears, flipping his life upside down. Together, they watch the tapes and piece together the clues the Duncan family has for them and fight a war filled with plot twists.

When Amy Duncan returns to work as a nurse, she tells her family to stay at home but is obviously worried about her adoptive daughter, Hira and her blind date, and her husband Bob's ability to take care of their baby daughter Charlie.
