Maybe I am being too harsh but it's better to be angry at someone than to pine after them. Especially as the man in question is so blatantly unavailable, it's too agonising to endure. ________________________________________ What if Laurie read Jo's letter? Would it change everything? Or would nothing change at all? Heartbreak and conflict ensues under the March family household but the question remains true-What does the future hold for these two who are destined to be, yet torn apart by fate itself?

We know, as we read the book or watch the movies, we know. We can see it. Pain behind those words, shadows on that face, and a longing in those actions. Laurie still loves Jo. Deep down, that wound hasn't healed yet, not completely. Her Teddy had kept holding on, and most of us wish that Jo did too. And soon...both of them had completely let go. Because of that, both were married in the classic novel, but what if we were to change those circumstances? What if their romance was given a chance to grow? How would it be then? Written in 2021.
