Allie and Ed have gone through so much, that Allie isn't so sure anymore. They had just lost a child, and Allie has fallen into depression. But when Ed writes a song for their lost son, Allie falls back into a flash back of her and Ed's life, meeting him, and Ed's rise to fame. Will Allie come out of her depression? Will they be able to make it through the death of this child? Or will it kill them both?

You went to an Ed Sheeran concert. He started to play and you couldn't deal with his voice and then, the magic began...

It was one of those nights she felt empty and tired of all those shits... And it was one of those nights when he felt broken and alone... How it will end if she let this ginger stranger sleep on the floor of her flat?

Ed has a terrible nightmare but you pull him from it and comfort him in the middle of the night.

(Oneshot based off of Don't, with song references through the years) X He looked up as I neared him, the coughing of the motor drowning out my words, but they were audible. His eyes were red and so was his right cheek, and they were glazed over with hurt and tipsiness. His face made my breath go ragged, it was so pained and I wanted nothing more than to fix him. "You can’t drive like this," I said, as he looked down to where his feet were resting on either side, swaying from alcohol. "I know," he said, "I know, ok," and his voice cracked at the end, as he let his head drop forward to the handlebars, jacket taught against his back so I could see every muscle move with the motion. I could see his back rise and fall with every breath as he willed himself to calm down, hold it together, but I knew he wasn’t going to be able to. "What happened?" I asked, as he looked up from the crook of his arm on the handlebar, meeting my eyes brokenly. "She cheated, Lauren, she fucking cheated."

Allie and Ed have mutual friends, but don't really know each other all that well. She's honestly never really had a second thought about him until now, when she notices him watching her all night. You could say her curiosity has been piqued.

Ed is a deep brooding musician with a unique look on life, When his emotional background drives him to alcoholic bars, he meets someone who seems to look at life the same way he does, a 19 year old collage drop out,Hattie Witter. Will Ed's quirkiness and difficult life dive her away? Or will there differences turn out to be more the same than they thought?
