Allie and Ed have gone through so much, that Allie isn't so sure anymore. They had just lost a child, and Allie has fallen into depression. But when Ed writes a song for their lost son, Allie falls back into a flash back of her and Ed's life, meeting him, and Ed's rise to fame. Will Allie come out of her depression? Will they be able to make it through the death of this child? Or will it kill them both?

She remembers that shy 14 year old boy that got bullied back in grade school but now Ed is far from that.
