This is a poem / song I wrote that comments on the failings of Republican senator Mitch McConnell. It is a parody that is sung to the tune of Doris Day's classic "Que Sera, Sera."

Ex-journalist and fugitive from the law, Jacob Moresco lends an old classmate's son his ancient motorcycle, and sets into motion a chain of events that culminates in the destruction of an iconic landmark and the death of dozens of people, both innocent and guilty. The past comes back to haunt both Jacob and his friend Alistair Golding, and before all is said and done, they learn the hard way that you can't always fight fire with fire. The ex-journalist is accompanied on this journey by a cast of characters who range from sweet and lovable to murderously cold and calculating. Anyone who loves their country and is concerned about the sad state of its democracy today will want to check out "Jacob ... and Company."
