William, Will, Byers is out at his favorite bar in all of Chicago, "Crash Boat." Many bands perform at the bar, but Will is never interested in them. That is, until he hears a familiar song. As the band "KnockOut!" plays their hit song, "Lurk," Will is met with the eyes of the lead singer, Michael Wheeler. As the night comes to an end, Will is closing out his tab when he feels a hand tap his shoulder. Will's eyes meet Mike's. "Have you ever thought of dating a singer?" Mike asks. After talking for a bit, Mike writes his number down, handing it to Will. After a few days of knowing each other, Mike asks Will if he will go to California with him for their final tour date.
