A while ago, I wrote this one-shot and posted it on Same Quizy, and somehow it made it to the front page. Even though it's only 200 words, I figured I'd add it here, on Wattpad too. I think the events may have been based on my own experiences, the names have been changed, but they refer to the first letter of the names.

She grew up on ice. A teenage girl chasing hockey dreams while trying to figure out everything else that comes with growing up. Friendships that shift. Boys that complicate everything. And emotions she never really learns how to name. This is a story about the rink being the one place that always makes sense. Until it doesn't. Between practices, games, and bruises that don't always show on the outside, she is forced to deal with the chaos off the ice too. First love. Bad decisions. Mixed signals. And the kind of heartbreak that shows up right when you are trying to stay focused. Skates, Scars, and Boys is about hockey, growing up, and learning that sometimes the hardest hits do not come from the game.
