Wolf, a freshman college student, moves back to his birth country (Canada) with the intention of getting to know his Mother, a woman who had lived a life of self destruction, ultimately resulting in him being removed from her care at a young age and going to live with his Dad in Korea. Now an adult, Wolf has decided to reconnect with his mother, hoping to fill the void he felt for most of his life, despite having a loving father and warm family. But when Wolf arrives in Canada and knocks on his mother's door, he quickly realizes that things are much more complicated than he had thought. His hopes are soon replaced with new responsibilities. Join Wolf as he navigates through the challenges of caring for his newly discovered little brother. SERIE OF SHORT STORIES ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING (FICTIONAL AND NON-FICTIONAL) Hi guys! I've made maaany attempts over the past few years to write, but always to no avail. But lately I've been feeling very inspired, so I thought I'd try again. This time in the form of short stories, as it's easier to start with I suppose. It'll just be a serie of short stories, fictional and non-fictional. Updated whenever I feel inspired to write, as I don't do well under pressure haha! Hope you enjoy!

The school's most popular girl, Amber, just wanted to get to know him better. But, he wouldn't have any of it. His angst, inferiority complex and deep thirst for recognition and attention were too strong. And now, Prom Night was a night nobody would ever forget! (I wrote this short story back in college and submitted it to a nationwide writing contest here in the Philippines, sponsored by The Philippine Star newspaper, Globe Telecom and Goodwill Bookstore. Being that this was the first short story I had ever written, I had no idea it would win the monthly finals, but it did! Which paved the way for me to win the Grand Finals On-the-Spot Short Story writing contest with another short entitled "Full Circle.")

The story follows Ryder, a teenager on the first day of high school. He wakes up to the sound of his sister's annoying alarm and engages in typical sibling banter with her. Ryder's mom is a single mother who works hard to support them, and he deeply cares for her. As he prepares for school, Ryder reflects on his aspirations to attend Coast Utopia University and focuses on academics rather than engaging in high school sports. The story explores Ryder's feelings of being overshadowed by his popular and confident sister, Betty, who is in a relationship with Charles. On the way to school, Ryder feels apprehensive as he faces the challenges of high school, which he describes as the 'worst years of life.' Upon arriving at school, Ryder becomes lost in the overwhelming crowd of teenagers and seeks solace in his music. He collides with a girl named Samantha, who is also struggling to navigate her schedule. They bond over their shared confusion and fears about high school, and their chance encounter leads to an unexpected friendship. With Samantha's hand in his, Ryder feels a newfound camaraderie, and the once-monstrous high school now appears a bit friendlier. The story effectively portrays Ryder's thoughts, emotions, and his evolving perspective on high school life. The introduction of Samantha adds an element of hope and companionship to his journey through high school, promising interesting developments as their friendship grows.

Title says it all. She's just here to be the voice of reason and to give to characters more expansion. I'm still rewatching this so this could be slow. This is no way hate to anyone who enjoys this series, but if you defend the massive age gap gtfo. Also, non-important background characters will have a role in her story too.
