I still reminisce those days 9-10 years back when I was at my teens..there was a time..I used to wake up in the morning during the sundays..I saw dad sitting in the dine..with my half opened eyes I started walking towards our balcony and feel the fresh air that touches my skin..after freshening up I sat infront of my dad who was reading the news paper..waiting for the "chai"to come..mom came up with two cup of tea with a bottle of biscuits..and having our morning chit chats we had a very delightful time..years passed by..those mornings never came back again..I grew up..with the burden of higher studies and sleepless nights.. Those days were quite easy for me then..the way I see the life through my eyes was pretty beautiful and astonishing..when I used to wake up early..feeling the air..rather than touching my phone and login to facebook..when I used to pen down a poetry in a notepad..rather then typing a poetry in mirakee..never saw my Dad in the sundays sitting in the dine..but saw my roommate sleeping beside me..in the hostel..there's no one to make a cup of tea for me..but have to make one for myself..I can see how life is changing everyday..passing my teenage years..stepping into my adult days..where life isn't easy at all as I thought it would be.. ~Piku~

This is a book that consists of some of the poems that I have written up until today. I started writing poems 2 years ago. My initial poems are pretty naïve but these days, I feel confident about my poems so as to even share them with you guys. I know a lot of poems might not be that understandable because I am the only one who knows what they mean. But the poems are open to interpretation and everyone has the right to give their own special meaning to the poems. So, I would not want to tell the summary of each. I hope you enjoy it.

She was raised in a noisy home where nobody truly paid attention. Every fight, every meal eaten in silence, and each night she pretended to be fine made her tougher, even if she didn't want that. Her world seemed to crumble bit by bit, and she felt she'd have to manage it all alone. But then there were her friends-the ones who stuck around, who made her laugh when she forgot how and reminded her that love shouldn't always be painful. This tells the tale of a girl who discovered everything the tough way-how to mend without saying sorry, how to smile despite the breaks, and how to rebuild herself when family love fell short. Sometimes the family we create helps us more than the one we're born into. 💫 The Things She Had to Learn Alone - a story about hurt, recovery, and friendships that kept her going.

From twilight to night, all she could do was to peak through her window and watch him lovingly on his open window, she mastered that routine excellently. The sunset became a sentimental part as it reminds her of him but years later watching the sun sets at a hospital room no longer excites her as it became the sole witness of her despair. Is there a second chance for them? or just like sunset it doesn't always end beautifully because it can also mean something is coming to an end.
