This story is about how Finney finally begins to come out of his shell in his senior year, making friends with people he'd never imagine talking to, as time goes on, Finney realizes that maybe being friends was a bad idea, as more complicated feelings begin to grow between him, and them. The Grabber will exist in this AU, but not as a kidnapper freak because I don't want to make kidnapping scenes, I don't have the mental capacity for all that. He'll probably just be like a sweet or creepy ass neighbor, depending on how you take kindness, I guess.

It is a work of fiction based on the film "Teenage Dirtbag" written and directed by Regina herself, based on true events from her life. It has inspired me in so many ways and it would be an honor to write from inside the characters' heads instead of seeing it on screen. Thank you Regina, for this amazing work of art.

A tomboy didn't seem to be very appealing to most guys, right? I thought they would go after the girls, you know, that actually acted like girls. My type wasn't most appealing. There wasn't much to me. My personality wasn't that great either, and to most it was appalling. The only ones who accepted my "warm welcome" of a personality was my best friend, who I grew up with. Usually the torn up vans, dirty shirts, and unappealing tank top that covered my "goodies" seemed to scare the boys off. I never cared for it. I never cared to be "over my heels' in love with any boy, not until I got my life together and set up. I wouldn't let any boy ruin the chances of having fun during my teenage years. I'm just a teenage dirtbag who's in love with life and torn-up clothing. But apparently that's appealing to him.

I don't really care about it , my parents say that they're proud of me and it's all that matters. I have long slightly curly hair with some highlights.
