When a teenager dies, they become ghosts. Not all do though. Only the lost ones.
Kids are light spirits and they are naturally lead to the light. Adults have order and, even if they don't believe it, always know where they have to go. So, when a kid or adult dies their spirit naturally leads them to whatever afterlife they are meant to be in. But teenagers stand in between. Most are all caught up between choosing the kid life or adult life. They are. . . well, lost. So, when they die, they continue to be lost. Then, all that's left for them to do is linger in the world as ghosts. Lost spirits who don't know where to go.
Fifteen-year-old Lyric Morris wanted to become a singer. It was her dream and something she was determined to achieve in her future. Things didn't go as planned. Lyric soon dies and finds herself in a lost world full of teenage ghosts. A terribly miserable place to be in and ruled by a ruthless king. But things aren't always what they seem and there is a lot more to this afterlife than just a lost world.
