Few of the poems I write. It's something a truly enjoy, showing the world in words of my eyes. Always had a deep interest in poetry, and started writing again very recently ! Please, this isn't the work of a professor, but one of a student. I am truly aware of my mediocre levels, yet it's still something very enjoyable for me. I figured, if it pleases me, might it do the same with others ? And here we are.

Just a bunch of love letters we write for people we know that will never know those are for them (we hope)

Feelings are just an ocean of trouble waiting to be sailed across, but why can't he seem to find an island to escape them?

I've had these poems sitting around for a few years now, so I figured I'd put them somewhere.. They're not great.. a lot of pining and angst and depression (slight trigger warning for a few - self harm, depression <3), but there's a kind of raw emotion and a weird sort of nostalgia that makes me feel like perhaps some people might relate.. I hope some people do, and that you don't judge angsty 18 year old me too much.. I'm going to write a few out at a time whenever I get round to it, so it might be a little while before everything is published, but I hope that there are a few people out there who enjoy the bits that I get done

Have you ever wondered if everyone got hurt too? if anyone could even imagine the amount of pain you were going through? Have you ever wished someone could just understand? Well, I do. {kinda} Here, you can find quotes, poems, or just a few snippets from within the author's mind, all based on relatable experiences. This book is all about looking through someone else's eyes and understanding yourself through them. Just a few words put together by a teenager to produce something that might be worth your time. They are about love, loss, pain, and self-worth. I'm not too good with descriptions but I can promise the inside is way better. Moments that only happen in my head that I long for with you.

the complex emotions we all get from growing up decorated with with tears and ribbons

Everything in this world is sugar-coated. At first glance, we all see only the beauty, the beauty in the lie. But slowly, this sugar melts and that's when the truth hits us. Raw and bitter. Hard to face. We feel like running away. Giving up. But we don't. We keep fighting; even if we lose, we get up and carry on. Why? Because of the hope. Even in the horrifying truth, there is a streak of hope that keeps us going. This truth, this hope, is what makes life. And this life, in verse, is what makes this book.
