Cass Cain and Rose Wilson were involved with David Cain and Slade Wilson's project. If successful, the men would have created a female army, but it wasn't. Instead, it created a pair of friends that worked together with masks on, as Black Bat and Ravager, and without, as Cass and Rose. They feel much too confined with the control that the older heroes have on them, even in their personal lives. Rose introduces Cass to a new world, one she can only label as rebellion. Both girls end up deciding that they only want to be let go, to be free.

Eliza Hunter's life revolves around her role as the lead vocalist of the alternative band Tongues, a project she co-founded with her twin brother, Ben Hunter, and her closest friend, Arian Brooks. What started as impromptu jam sessions in a garage has transformed into a high school sensation, with invitations pouring in for every event. Lizzie is the quintessential good girl, excelling in her studies, blessed with a loving father, and shielded by her protective brother. But everything takes a dramatic turn when she unexpectedly falls in love with Arian, her best friend and the band's charismatic guitarist. Arian Brooks, on the other hand, is the troublemaker, a perpetual detention-dweller and an incorrigible ladies' man. His genuine friendships are few, limited to Ben and Lizzie, whom he considers as close as siblings due to their shared history from childhood. However, Arian conceals more secrets than he lets on. His home life is a living nightmare, with an abusive father who makes his existence a torment. The band and his loyal friends are the only sources of solace in his tumultuous world. Eliza and Arian are like polar opposites, and their worlds seem irreconcilable. The forces working against them appear insurmountable. Yet, as their feelings deepen, they must decide whether to shatter the barriers that separate them and prioritize their love over all else. In "Tongues" follow the journey of two seemingly incompatible souls, as they navigate the complexities of friendship, family, and romance, ultimately discovering whether their love can conquer the odds stacked against them. This young adult novel explores the power of love in the face of adversity and the enduring bonds of friendship that can transcend even the harshest of circumstances.

This story is close to my heart-based on real people, real moments, and real events. I started writing it when I was 15, just scattered pieces on scraps of paper, notes scribbled in journals, and the words I poured into my dear diaries. Please note: This story explores mature themes, including smoking, drug use, and violence. It captures the gritty realities of youth and rebellion. If these topics are sensitive for you, please read with care. ****** In a tight-knit suburban neighborhood, a group of teenagers calling themselves the DS navigate the blurred line between innocence and rebellion. Hidden by dense woods and metal fences, the train tracks are a place of freedom, danger, and secrets. It's where they go to drink, smoke, dream, and dare the world to stop them. At the center of the story is Michael, a complicated and charismatic boy, who stands apart from the rest of the group. Manera, a thoughtful and observant girl, is drawn into their hidden world of train tracks, late-night gatherings, and fleeting thrills. The train tracks, a place of secrecy and escape, become the backdrop for friendships, betrayals, and desires that will shape them all. Train Tracks is more than just a novel-it's a world. It's a raw, gritty, and deeply nostalgic exploration of youth, rebellion, and the bittersweet nature of growing up.

Dahlia Reyes had been named after the flower Dahlia, which was named after Anders Dahl. She decided that as soon as she learned how to read, she'd learn all she could about every flower known to mankind. Why? Because Anders Dahl was an 18th century botanist. So she studied, night and day while her parents worked, leaving her with a childminder who just sat and scrolled through their social medias. When she turns 15, she soon realises she has no friends, everyone too put out by her constant reading to even talk to her. But when a new boy joins the year above, her life soon changes. ON HOLD TIL SUMMER 2019
