But is all as simple as it seems? Inspired by the Britpop era of the 90's and the rivalries between two bands and their frontmen - who in this story are frenemies. Please don't judge too harshly. i started this collection of thoughts and feelings before i had really grown up. legally i'm supposed to be grown up now, but i'm still writing. i think it's going to be a long time before this collection feels complete, and i feel grown up.

**THIS BOOK CONTAINS LANGUAGE AND SCENES THAT SOME MAY FIND OFFENSIVE!** Graydens/The Tedious Life Of Ashley Astley was a book I had originally started during lockdown. Originally supposed to be a diary based on the peculiar, socially deficit 12/13 year old girl Ashley/Ash I had then got carried away and produced both first and third person accounts of the goings on - this however got too repetitive as I was basically repeating the same thing but in different perspectives. So now the story is split into two books: the original idea 'The Tedious Life Of Ashley Astley' and now 'Graydens' (the fictional school in which Ashley attends) which still has a basis around Ashley (in it's 3rd person perspective) also describes the goings on of the students and even some of the teachers in the shabby dysfunctional school based somewhere in the south east of England (bordering London) however never specified exactly where. Unfortunately many of the early chapters had been corrupted and so I have to rewrite them both in Graydens and TTLOAA. Fortunately some of the chapters are either fully intact or have partial snippets of the story/stories which I shall add whilst I rewrite the rest. This book is continuous and so 3 or so years later I'm still writing on and off. I have no idea when this will be finished or if it will be finished. Likely these stories will be a series in the foreseeable future... Although this is my first story I'll publish here, it isn't my first overall. I have written many stories since I was a child/teen (pencil/pen and paper) These are when I decided to pick up my virtual pen and start writing again now as an young adult.

As she come to realize that she must make a decision, Brynn discovers that there is no light without shadows.

I am finally changing it to a typed copy. It could use a lot of editing and as soon as I finish it and type it all up, I might consider editing it to make it perfect. The secrets he's been holding onto aren't the only thing that's going to be called into question. This is a Young Adult hybrid. Meaning it has elements of Adult fiction and YA Fiction. You'll also never be able to guess how the story ends....

This is mainly me getting back active. After being isolated away from my account since I got my belongings taken. Alone in Society, is how I felt for the past month and it felt like the perfect collection to drop this month. Since I have been battling a lot of criticism for my body, health, etc. and I am only 14 so bare with me if the grammar is off. It's been harder for me to think straight and be genuine since I started freshman year in highschool, so i haven't been as consistent. But each comment, vote, and view allows me to feel needed like someone out there wants to hear my voice. Alone in Society is about my life, and how I feel. From all the slurs people say to me to the constant nagging of people being controlling of how I see the things I like and love. It's about statements of how JTUSL could've been my last resort. But finding that self love is harder to understand and this month I tried to figure out why.
