In 2018, my life was completely changed in a way that I could have never seen coming. I was just an average teenage girl, balancing school, sports, and adolescent life, when sudden pain in my hip and leg changed everything. What I thought was just a simple injury turned out to be cancer. Within months, I went from practices, games, and hanging out with friends, to hospital rooms and intense chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
