[UNDER REVISION]
Melo had this faint glow under her skin, like tiny, flickering stars. Some days you'd barely notice it, but other days it flared up so bright she couldn't even try to hide it. Doctors called it "stardust syndrome". Her cells literally shimmered like little galaxies. And the brighter she glowed, the less time she had left.
She spent her days at Serenity Records, her father's old shop. It was a cozy little time capsule of dusty vinyl and forgotten tracks, packed with memories she always wished they could have made together.
Note: While the concept of a glowing illness is inspired by the Japanese novel and film You Shine in the Moonlight (Kimi wa Tsukiyo ni Hikarikagayaku), this is a completely different and original story.
