"Older brother."
A single word he had spent his entire life waiting to hear.
Ethan Miller, the eldest son of the family, grew up believing that being a big brother was nothing more than a responsibility. Even though he was always the first to be blamed, the first to be scolded, and the last to be heard, he accepted it all. Because to him, family would always come first.
But to his younger siblings-Mason Miller and Sofia Miller-he was never a real big brother. He was just someone they could yell at, curse, argue with, and ignore.
"Fuck you."
"I hope you die."
"Don't tell me what to do."
What hurt even more was that even his own parents would always say...
"You're the eldest. You should be the one to understand."
While Ethan watched other siblings laugh together, tease one another, and proudly call their oldest brother "Kuya" big brother, he could only ask himself in silence...
"Is being a big brother really this hard?"
Yet no matter how many times his siblings wounded him with words that should never come from family, he never once thought about leaving them.
Because he loved them.
Until the day came when the secret he had been hiding for so long finally caught up with him.
A secret that would change everything.
And when they finally wanted to call him...
"Older Brother"
It might already be too late.
