Another story, I wrote when I was younger - then forgot - and now found again. <3 (It was originaly in german, i changed it to english by using AI (i dont like ai but it wasnt possible another way :( ))

Manchmal fragt man sich, ob das alles wirklich wahr sein kann, oder ob nicht doch irgendwie irgendwo in diesem Universum ein entspanntes Leben möglich wäre. Häufig stellt man sich diese Möglichkeit im Alter zwischen zwölf und achtzehn vor. Und mal ehrlich: Schulstress, nervige Barbiegirls mit Hang zur Melodramatik, Erzpädagogen, die fast die Schule in die Luft jagen, und dann kommt natürlich noch irgendwann dieses tolle Erwachsenenpaket à la "Verantwortung-übernehmen" dazu. Kein Wunder, dass man das Leben mit Humor nehmen muss. Und Sarkasmus ist nun einmal die realistischere und eloquentere Art der Ironie. Die Helden, denen wir in diesen gesammelten Kurzgeschichten begegnen werden, sind allesamt mit dieser einzigartigen Wunderwaffe ausgestattet - Und wissen, wie man sich im Alltag damit behaupten kann! Zum Lachen, Weinen und Verzweifeln! :)

Yesterday I had my graduation ceremony and who would have thought that I would pass my secondary school leaving certificate with a B? Not me anyway! But first a little bit about me! I'm Elodie, 16 years old as I mentioned, and I'm about to start my A-levels. I'm actually a normal girl! Well, almost. I love to draw and I taught myself to play the piano. I also have a rather unusual big dream. I want to get out of Germany and move to New York City, Manhattan to be precise. Anyway, I've booked a flight! I'm leaving in September. I love getting my usual at the convenient store nearby. Going there is my favorite activity actually. Since I'm vegan and my parents are fully convinced meat lovers, I began to spend more and more time there. The food is surprisingly nice and fresh. I really enjoy sitting on the bench outside, eating my food while watching the pretty countryside scenery. Now that I'm 19, I finally appreciate the beauty of a small town like mine. Not too small to get sick of it, yet small enough to not have a big fuss around it. The feeling of familiarity always surrounds me, whether it is the daily portion of spicy udon and corn-sticks with warm green tea from the convenient store or the caring neighborhood who basially raised me. Ironically this safe place of mine would turn out to be the opening key to the person, who is now my biggest safety net.
