beware, dear reader, perhaps even a fellow poet. this collection contains the purest level of emotion that someone struggling in the depths of their coming-to-age can experience. human existence is beautifully cruel, and this book highlights it all.

I've been writing poems since I was very young. Some happy, some twisted, some depressing. I've decided it's time to compile them all together and publish them as my own official poetry book. I hope you enjoy.

From my head through a pencil and onto to a piece of paper. Midnight thoughts and daylight dreams. Words of sadness and words of hope. Some can hold meaning and some can make you think but none will make you happy. Some speak of love or being void of love. Most are just words written at 3am.

This will be a collection of poems that I write, and I will do my best to make sure they're all edited before I publish them.

No other source of light can compare to this one.

This is an uplifting and inspiring cancer poem. In 2020, Cancer caused more than one in four of all deaths in the UK. In 2021 over 10 million people died from cancer worldwide. But don't think these statistics apply to you. If you have cancer or know someone who does, don't think you or they will become another number. Don't lose faith because there is a God. And if there is a God, there is hope. Keep strong and you will defeat cancer in the name of Jesus. Stay Hard.

So, waaayyy back over summer break, I heard about some drama between my friends, but I wasn't involved. Here's what I had to say: - "My point of view about what's happened these last couple weeks. I feel that much of a teenager's life is spent seeking drama, seeking attention from others in the wrong way that can and will lead to conflict. What we've seen here shows that. I hope that this will continue to serve as an encouragement to those going through drama, and a warning to those who aren't. This is a very real thing, and it can only be combatted if we recognize and stop it before fights break out. Stay Alive |-/."

"Distractions" is a reflective spoken word poem that explores the cycles of distraction, self-doubt, and inner searching. It captures the tension between wanting growth and feeling trapped in familiar patterns that offer comfort even when they shouldn't. Through raw introspection and honest self-awareness, the speaker confronts their own role in their stagnation-acknowledging that sometimes, we are both the problem and the path to healing. The poem's shifting rhythm mirrors the mental back-and-forth of trying to escape one's own loops, ultimately leaving the listener lingering in the question: how do we find peace within ourselves when distraction feels easier than discovery?

Like most teenagers, I am obsessed with very weird things, one of which is poetry! This here is a collection of all of the poems I have ever published. Yup, I even included the ones I wrote when I was thirteen, the ones that make me cringe while reading. I hope these make somebody out there feel some type of emotion, as that is my main goal when I write anything. Please keep in mind that some of these are adaptions of other poems; I went through a phase where I would try to better professional writers' pieces. (It obviously didn't work.)
