A collection of poems written along the way. Some are about wounds that refuse to fade. Some are about identity, memory, beauty, loss, and the strange contradictions within us. Others simply ask questions that have no easy answers. From watching the first rains through a closed window to becoming ensnared in another person's music, Journey is a collection about growing, falling, remembering, and trying to understand what it means to move forward. Perhaps a journey isn't about reaching somewhere. Perhaps it's about everything we become along the way.

I'm not a poet. I'm just a 17-year-old writing down the things I don't know how to say out loud. This is a collection of poems about school, family, growing up, and the kind of pain people don't notice because you're "too young" to be this tired. It's about being compared, being ignored, being told you're fine when you're really not. About smiling in public and breaking down when you're alone. Some of this is messy. Some of it is angry. Some of it probably shouldn't be shared-but it's real. If you've ever felt invisible, misunderstood, or like you're carrying more than you should be at this age, maybe you'll see yourself here. These are some old poems I have written over the years. There isn't much to say other than that they may be a bit sad.
