My story is about a group of teen girls now ending grade 11 and having the "best" summer of there lives. There all at a party until one goes missing and the next day is named a suicide of the girl. Her friends know it's not true so they investigate. What they find is very shocking. Another girl goes missing and for both deaths body's are not found. The girls left follow a trail and what it leads them to is very mysterious....please read and continue to find out what happens!

Population of 15,000, settled in 1880. Now, meet Chai Bennet. Our narrator. She's an 8th grader at Hughes Middle School and lives with an older brother, Terry, and a mother, Chanelle. Chai is what we call a daydreamer, good at not paying attention. She likes nothing more than to be floating in her thoughts, due to the fact that she's learned her thoughts are better than people as her dad left a while back. However, this is going to cost her.
