Suicidal girl

Depression means "feelings of severe despondency and dejection." There are over one million reported incidents of suicide, worldwide, each year meaning that one person, somewhere in the world, takes their own life every 40 seconds. If you are in depression or know someone is then please speak up now or It's too late. And most suicide is because of depression or anxiety. I hope this story or incident you can say of a million people can make you understand that #suicideisnottheanswer

Charlotte van Katwijk guards herself like a secret. Kids are cruel, and she knows if they find out she's adopted, she'll be a bully's easy target. When they are fourteen, Charlotte's best friend's mom commits suicide. It triggers in Charlotte a sense of urgency to find her birth mother before it's too late, and the answers to her burning questions are taken to the grave. Seven years later, a tormented Charlotte comes face to face with her past. Will discovering more about her biological parents, and the circumstances surrounding her relinquishment, be enough to lay her demons to rest? 'Umbilicus' is a coming-of-age story set in South Africa's biggest port city during the dying days of apartheid. The tumultuous zeitgeist of the era mirrors the inner turmoil of an angst-ridden adolescent as she grapples to form an identity and find her place in the world.

This was originally just me trying to keep myself a float by ranting crazy things I wanted to do before I die and it probably meant nothing to anyone else but me but I felt a need to make this something more or at least try while I'm feeling not good but at least good enough to do this for you strangers of the internet.

Dedication: This poem is for Hannah Baker and for all those like her. It is for those of us who struggle with our body image, and for those of us who struggle with mental illness. I have struggled with mental illness and continue to struggle--but I do have hope. My hope is that whoever watches Thirteen Reasons Why and feels moved by its message, will be kinder to one another, and more aware of the warning signs that someone is hurting. Watch what you say, because words pierce deeper than bullets at times. I will be releasing a book in August of 2019 called "Circle of Dysfunction" based loosely on my life and my struggles with mental illness. This is literally just my actual journal entries from over a while. Whenever I write, I'll post it. I don't care, but it will be triggering in many different ways. If you are sensitive, this may not be the best idea to read. I don't always write a ton, some days I do. Some may stay unfinished because I didn't finish them, or they were just long as fuck. At 6 pm a gun shot was heard, 6 hours later at the stroke of midnight a girls death was pronounced a suicide. 5 and a half days later the family disappeared from town. Now decades later Casen goes into an abandoned house, finding a small diary in his wake. After a few days, it's clear something was terribly wrong. Who influenced this small teenage girl to go as far as suicide? Was her death even a suicide at all?
