I hate everything around me. I hate everyone. I can't stand anything anymore I just don't know what to do anymore. Everything I do is wrong everywhere I turn leads me back to square one. And I can't keep doing it. Everyone hates me. Except him.

A story about a boy who had been bullied all his life he finally meats a girl who liked him back but she has been bullied far to long and does something that destroys him and he docent know what he should do (basically a story about suicide)

Bayli was the only person who kept Chris sane through the 11th grade. Chris was the only person who kept Bayli from crying herself to sleep every night. When Bayli jumps off a bridge, Chris needs to decide whether to let the truth come out or to let it die with her. When he finds out that he was the only one who could've saved her, he dives into a pit of utter darkness. On The Edge is an original script that I decided to write as part of my personal project for school. This play falls under the category of play of ideas. If you don't know what that means, it means that this play highlights social issues of today. In order to write this play, I had to research suicide, depression, social anxiety, bullying, and bipolar disorder and embed what I learned into characters. I researched using the internet as well as interviewing people that I know who deal with some of these issues. By writing this, I wanted to educate myself as well as spread awareness about these issues. I hope that if you are someone who deals with these issues that this play can help you know that you are not alone and help show that you have options to get help. I hope that if you are someone who knows another dealing with these issues that this play can help you better understand how you can be there for them and help them. This script is technically finished, but i will continue to edit it to make it better. I will edit based on the critiques i receive on here and well personal goals on how I want to change it. Christe Jemmings, a sixteen year old girl that attends West Park High School in North Carolina. She is best friend to Seanna Martin, Christe falls in a state of depression and takes an overdose of sleeping pills and ends up in a coma for a short period, however, when she wakes up, she remembers what had happened and starts cutting herself with a blade and commits suicide due to depression and social media comments.
