This summer is all about the friendgroup called 'Potatoes' of Fenton, Dean, Brooklyn, Sophie, Hazel, Caysen and Naya. When they go on holiday together, everything seems to go smooth and clear. But after a while, one of the 'Potatoes' notices a difference over time. Despite, they all still have a great time. But are they safe? 'Danger? Are you serious? Summer 2014 is what she thought would be a normal weekend with friends... Little did she know she would find her first true love. Then later turn around find out that things are tougher then she ever thought they'd be in regards to a relationship.

17 year old Mathew Van Doren hasn't felt alive in years, he has no friends, his grandparents died, his parents divorced, and his father left him with his mother who reminds him every day that he isn't good enough. When Mathew gets the chance to move in with his dad to a small New England town (Bar Harbor, Maine) that he used to visit as a child, he thinks this will be the start of a new and happy life. But when he reconnects with some old friends he soon finds him self offering to investigate a murder case that was wrongfully closed. He spends his summer growing closer with these new friends and playing detective. But what if the truth is worse than the actual crime? How far will Mathew go for the girl that he loves? I fit in know where, it's like I don't exist to anyone, I'm 16 years old and has never had a boyfriend yet. I don't even have any friends to talk to or have a girls night with. Okay, I'm tired I hope it's good This story about my ocs takes place in our world, I just added a random island in the Italian region I live in bc I want the oc to be in my same region but also on an island lol. Also there's a parallel world where creatures and monsters live and I need to explain the difference of the anthropomorphic monsters bc the creatures are just creatures lol 1. Humans: just humans lol no special abilities (Agatha, Sam, Leonard). 2. Protectors: can control elements in a cool way. The elements are: Water, Ice (is a rare element to have and only a water element protector's identical twin can have it bc y not), Thunders, Wind and Plants. No fire bc I don't like it (Vivienne, Alexander, Virgilio, Floris, Stella) 3. Half-way creatures: they get an ability from what they care the most (example: they really like dolls so they create and control dolls!) (Elaizabet, Elisabeth, Celine, Leon, Clara). 4. Monsters: they are born with an ability that they can't change and most of them don't look like humans, but some does. (Pierre, Shelby, Irina, Frederik) Oh I should explain how politics basically works in the parallel world. Basically the protectors are really leftist and protect the only portal between the world and the parallel (located in an island in Veneto, Italy) world from both humans and half-way monsters. Why only half-way monsters? Because they rule the parallel world often try to take over the island so that they can control humans (that's why they are called protectors). There are few protectors families, and only one that actually has the role to protect the portal and they don't think they are more important that others, they just do their job. While the half-way families (they are a mix but they can be both left or right wing) that are into politics are a lot more and keep fighting for who has control over the parallel world and tries in every way to get to the top and rule.
