Turning to the figure, who by now is surely wondering what the hell is wrong with me, I give him a helpless smile. "I'm Stiles. What's your name?" I ask, crouching down next to them. From here I'm able to see his face from the dim street lamp. His strong jaw, stubble growing on his face, and the intense look in his eyes make me feel relieved that I'm crouching down, otherwise my week knees would give out. "Derek....Derek Hale."
