Rafael insisted on taking Carter with him, and she didn't argue, considering her closeness with her father. Plus, she was only eleven at the time. What could she have done? However, she would dearly miss the rest of her family that she would leave behind. Especially the boy who has had her heart since the first moment they met, Stiles Stilinski. Oh, how that boy would make Carter's heart race faster than a cheetah. But, because of how young they were, Carter never had a chance to tell him.
