Rip Selena (1971-1995). Selena was a Mexican-American Singer, Songwriter, Spokesperson, and fashion designer. She touched the hearts of many. Selena is an example of the American Dream, but was sadly murdered on March 31 1995.

Selena navigates her way through the very English wizarding school while making friends and enemies at the same time. Selena even develops a strong dislike for a certain blonde haired Slytherin.

After buying an iconic singer's ring at an auction, a man begins to question the morality of owning such an item. Author's NOTE: This story is inspired by how Selena's dad threw the ring gave her into the sea. I've fictionalized/renamed the characters and changed some details though. I enjoy her music and personality very much. The song "Premio de Mi Corazon" is inspired by "God's Child (Baila Conmigo)" and "Amor Prohibido." And Joselina's collection of moon-related items is inspired by Selena's collection of eggs. Other songs are inspired by "Como La Flor" and "Si Una Vez." Even her father claiming her rancheras are her best songs is inspired by how "No Me Queda Mas" was Abraham's favorite song. Yes, this is the same Mr. Correia who met The Beautiful Serpent/Ticualtzincoatl in some of my earlier stories.
