Epic: The Musical fanfiction || Telemachus x Reader For past few years you'd only been putting off the inevitable. It was time for you to choose a husband, as it was a princess' duty. In order to find a perfect spouse for you, your father organized a tournament, a competition for your precious love.

In a palace built on waiting, two children grow up learning how to survive absence. Telemachus, son of Odysseus, lives in the shadow of a father turned legend. Y/N, daughter of Polites, carries the kindness of a man who sailed away and never returned. Taken in by Penelope after her mother's death, Y/N becomes family-woven into the halls of Ithaca, into Telemachus' life, into the quiet moments between fear and hope. Best friends since childhood, they understand each other in ways no one else can: the ache of missing a parent, the weight of responsibility too heavy for young shoulders, and the loneliness of growing up in a house that no longer feels safe. Epic The Musical? Yes. Young Telemachus found a little girl in the training hall aggressively hacking down a training dummy with a wooden sword. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was Eftychia. He didn't know much about the girl, only in passing. Her mother was his mother's childhood friend. And with her mother's recent passing, her father became one of the queen's suitors, in short, an enemy. "What are you doing here?" he asked. The girl didn't look up but answered, "They won't let me hold a sword at home." "And?" Telemachus asked, not satisfied with the answer. "And mother said, Spartan girls do rigorous physical training. So I should have one too," she explained, pointing the wooden sword at him, "Want to spar?" Telemachus raised his brow at her. He knows that she was born and raised in Ithaca and was about to point it out when he noticed her red puffy eyes. She did just lose her mother. Telemachus agreed to the spar not expecting that this girl would be someone who would be by his side no matter what.

What would happen if the characters of Epic the Musical had a group chat? It'd probably be chaotic... just like this book! Read to find out. DISCLAIMER: Might not be precisely accurate to the actual musical. Bear with me please. Updated monthly. I don't own Epic or any of the characters.

I'm currently OBSESSED with all things EPIC and just finished writing the first chapter of this short little story that started out as a vague idea in my head. Please Please Please leave comments or interact with this post in some way! I need the validation/feedback/constructive criticism to improve my writing. So far I only have the characters that appear in this chapter listed as the "Main Characters" but I do plan on adding Athena to the story and I'm also thinking of incorporating Zeus or Hermes into the story I just don't know how/in what capacity I want to include them in the story or if I should even include them in the story at all(this is where your comments would be very much appreciated!)
