Several of the non-irritated people present in her lives tended to be extremely worried around her, and tried to provide her with anything to cheer her up. But nothing worked. She was lost. She was useless. She couldn't do anything. She couldn't be the strong little moonlark everyone wanted her to be. She needed Keefe back. She needed to find him. She needed him soon. Before the numbness consumes her. - Sorta crappy introduction, I swear the writing will be better! - • Nothing mature will be happening in this story! Well..... let's just say that Nadia's technology isn't going to save her this time.

This is a comic script, work in progress. I'm putting it on here in hopes of getting some criticism and advice to make it better.

A hundred years into the future, humans have evolved to naturally talk with their minds. Because of this, humans have been able to live peacefully for some time. Some people are born with a mental illness that prevents them to talk telepathically. They are called 'disconnect'. They are considered scum of the society because there is no way of accessing their minds and knowing what they are thinking. They are now being hunted down, to prevent a disaster from happening.

It is one thing to date your ex secretly and it's totally another thing to go out with an ALIEN!!!!!......Anne a pretty girl is normal in many ways but extraordinary in a single way, she is a telekinetic. As she is about to turn 17 she uncovers many hidden truths. Like for instance she is adopted and that her ex wants to get back. To add on the pressure there is Jake, her dance partner, who suddenly changes from being a geek to a hottie. Can she handle it all?

The novel started as a short story that was submitted to a writing contest (didn't win). It is very loosely based upon the Babylon 5 Universe (telepaths, shadows, plethora of different races, etc.). I still continued to think about the story and how it ended without a final resolution (though the story did have an ending, it left a lot of questions about the protagonist). Thanks to the obsession and compulsion I have with writing (it's a blessing and a curse) I decided to continue the story to final resolution. This is it. A race called the Chitoxan came from an unknown area of space and declared war on the races making up the Earth-Alliance. More technically advanced than the races they encounter, the overwhelming power of the shadow vessels results in most battles ending in complete defeat for the Earth-Alliance. Only by massing fire on an individual shadow vessel or, in extremely desperate situations, committing suicide with a ship's reactor overload, can a shadow vessel be defeated. Earth and Earth-alliance colonies are slowly being conquered and occupied by Chitoxa. The humans on these occupied colonies are enslaved and forced to serve the Chitoxan's every need. A young man volunteers for the Space Marines during the Chitoxan war. Upon induction, he discovers that he is 'blessed' with unique abilities. However, these abilities cause his life to be changed drastically and terribly. He is taken away and forced into a never-ending nightmare. After a quick and violent encounter between Earth and Chitoxa, another Earth fleet is beaten and is almost wiped out. The surviving ship gets a lucky shot at an attacking shadow vessel, slicing off one of its appendages. The pain and shock of the loss does something to the human controller of the battle crab....

This book will be everything Keeper of the Lost Cities! Quotes, favourite moments, ships, theories galore (who ARE Sophie's parents???), and so much more!
