Harp Academy was founded in California in 1840. It's an academy for anybody with 'special abilities'. When April Peterson fills out the form to attend and answers the questions unusually, the school gets the wrong idea and assumes she is somebody with 'special abilities'. April had no idea what she was getting herself into. What school she was moving to. A school with: faeries, mermaids, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches etc. When the secret of her being just a human gets discovered, will she be thrown out of the supernatural school?

Jay Caine is a vampire hunter along with his two best friends, Dexter and Dallas. He is quite experienced and has killed many vampires in his life. He thinks his life is hard but it only gets worse when he meets Sienna Saint, a girl with her own secrets. She is involved in a deal with a powerful vampire. If she doesn't do what she asks, her life will be threatened. If she does what she asks, she won't be killed. Bit unfair, right? But when the vampire finds out that she is getting friendly with the vampire hunter who's responsible for many deaths of their kind, his life gets turned upside down with many death threats. If that isn't bad enough, he begins to fall for Sienna not knowing what he's getting himself into. Not to mention that a certain powerful vampire keeps trailing back into his life for rematches.
