Shikamaru joined forces with Temari for a mission to protect the priestless named Misaiko, who is also a kunoichi of the Hidden Windmill Village. Shikamaru and Temari's mission was to protect the wind priestless from the enemies that were trying to kill her.

Love is tested in this drama/romance story. Still trying to come to terms with her past, Temari finds herself yet again in a relationship, only this time, with Shikamaru, a lazy guy with simple goals in mind.
