Ryuu is a male Serpenticorn, a fusion of a serpent and an alicorn. He is the son of King Orochimaru of Serpentia Hollow. When Prince Ryuu decided to embark on a journey to explore the Friendship Festival, where ponies from all over Equestria come to celebrate, his adventure was cut short by the invasion of the Storm King's army. Ryuu soon finds himself on a quest with Princess Twilight, the Princess of Friendship, along with Spike and her friends: Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity. Their mission is to help save Equestria. However, Ryuu never expected to fall in love with Tempest Shadow, the second-in-command of the Storm King's forces.

Tempest is the only mare in her town called Ponyville that reads and thinks outside the box. The ponies in her town think it's unhealthy, and call her an odd mare. But when her mother Malia is captured by a changeling named Perla, Tempest takes her mother's place as Perla's prisoner. But soon Tempest sees something there in Perla that she didn't see before.

As Ryuu's heritage collides - serpent and alicorn, he and Tempest who barely managed to escape must seek allies to help defend Serpentia Hollow and defeat the Akatsuki The past, long buried, demands to be reckoned as they face its most dangerous trial yet to save Serpentia Hollow along with the Mane Six and Ryuu closest Serpentia Hollow freinds who manged to hide from the Akatsuki in Anko's treasure and favorite sanctuary of peace.
