But upon opening the book ,it sends them to the year 1930's where they meet an archeologist named Indian Jones and his young sidekick short round and singer willie in Shanghai meeting with China's mob boss Lao Che, who is exchanging a pure white diamond with an artifact with Jones and where the fight issues between the mafia, Jones, the kangaroo family, and quinella who only has her eyes set on the diamond like willie they and Qunella escape from the restaurant with the help from short round and board a plane of out shanghai unknown to them it belongs to Lao che.

Following the timeline rather than the order the movies were released. Euphemia 'Effie' Jones, Henry 'Indiana' Allen Jones jr's baby sister. Effie is younger than Indiana by ten years. Indy essentially raising her more than their father. She joined the family tradition and became an archaeologist, working alongside her brother and Marcus.
